Big Bills And Smaller Bills

We had a visit early this morning from two men from our power supplier. We've been getting big bills for the three phase nursery supply that we no longer use. MrQ thought that the meter might be faulty. They've de-energised the supply so we won't even have to pay the standing charge in future. It amused me to see one of them dusting round the fuses with what looked like a blusher blush, surrounded as he was by all the junk, grime and cobwebs in our Nissen hut. One of the guys was a real petrolhead and I very much enjoyed chatting drifting, Integras, TypeRs, Peugeot 205s, wheel colours etc. with him.

Quite a bit of mallard activity at the lake and it is lovely to see primroses blooming on the bank. The cock blackbird is in peak breeding condition.
