Skipping Day

I woke up a bit sad that on top of having to miss last night's special concert, today is our first Shrove Tuesday apart. No Skipping Day for Katie, so I assumed. But I opened my email, and she'd sent me a video of herself skipping this morning! I had not mentioned it all to her, she'd done it totally off her own back. It made me smile a lot.

For those who are confused, Google Scarborough Skipping Day. My Scarborough lass has introduced it to the Southerners! Proud mama, heehee!!
