Jewelled ivy berries

A dreadful day. While much of the country appeared to be relatively sunny we were stuck under a bank of low, thick cloud with lazy drizzle drifting down all day. Much like a typical Lakeland day without the mountains and lakes.

We didn’t let the conditions stop us from going out to walk on various errands around the village and indeed these ivy berries benefited from the soaking rain. I was beginning to wonder where todays blip was coming from.

Susan visited her mum this afternoon while I waded my way through admin before going for a run in the gathering gloom.

A virtual Teams meeting this evening was bookended by dinner and pancakes.
