TINY TUESDAY

It's Tiny Tuesday. I went to the shooting range today with my friend Pierre (shown above) shooting my Walther PDP 9mm.

My intention was to see if I could catch a TINY bullet as it left the muzzle of the gun.

It moves very quickly. I managed to stop the action but the shutter speed was still insufficient to stop the bullet clearly....if you look closely, you can see the blurred projectile just in front of the light streak which I presume to be light reflecting off the full metal jacket of the bullet as it flies toward the target.

 I should have shot at 1/8000th. I will try that next time I need a Tiny Tuesday shot.
