"Our Co-Pilot"

...Yes, these pilots seem younger and younger don't they, (but that tells our age doesn't it!! - and what a sweet girl she was - her name was Jill - I know that because she introduced herself over the speaker once we were all seated and behaving ourselves...

... I held up everyone behind me when we were boarding the plane tonight back home - and I asked her if she didn't mind if I took her photo - well, you know what I'm like by now, surely!! As you can see - she didn't mind a bit...

... As I've said - when a blipper can see a good blip - nothing else matters - I wasn't being selfish - the others behind me thought I was pretty game (or shocked) by the looks on their faces - and boarding time was a little earlier - so why not take a blip of the co-pilot - after all - we generally see them only walking out to the plane - not standing by the plane..but, that's 'country' for you - the rural routes are a little different - as are the people of the 'country' - or - 'out in the sticks' as we say..I guess people understand..

...Anyway, the trip was very smooth and we were spoiled once again and I was intrigued at the lady opposite embroidering her piece of quilting, so beautifully, I thought, well, she's not worried about how rough the flight may be - with a needle in her hand - and she told me that she'd done the trip 3 times in the last 3 weeks so she knew what to expect...
