28,828 Blue Ribbons

I am in Chicago this morning for a business meeting. This is the Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Avenue. There are 28,828 blue ribbons in the trees. One for each child that was abused in the state of Illinois last year, according to statistics from Prevent Child Abuse America.

The Women's Group at this church is making a difference to protect America's most precise resource through shelters, funding and legislation.

With these blue ribbons we remember the children who suffer.
