A large heap of branches
P has been removing branches from the smaller of the two fallen pines. This one was about fourteen metres high, and the trunk was a metre in circumference at the point where it snapped. I didn't have time to go out and find symmetry for Wide Wednesday today, and the chill drizzle wasn't tempting.
It's been a busy day, with telephone appointments and an unusually well attended and lively online meeting of the county physical disability forum. This morning also brought the worrying news that one of J's PAs, who was here yesterday and the day before, has tested positive for Covid this morning; so after two long years of shielding J, staying almost entirely at home and even after vaccinations opening up only to the two PAs, we wait anxiously to find out if any of us have contracted it.
I've back blipped yesterday's birthday cake this evening too, so if you have a minute do flick back to it - though not for the quality of the cake decorating!
