Merritt Island

I have so many photos of the birds we saw on Merritt Island, it is hard to decide what to Blip.  This one won out because it exemplifies the day.  So many birds!  There are Great Egrets and Snowy Egrets, as well as a couple Roseate Spoonbills in this group.  Also White Pelicans just out of the photo and White and Glossy Ibis.  Well...you get the picture.  Pun intended.  Perfect weather, perfect day and even some time on the beach at the Canaveral National Seashore.
The extra is a bonded pair of Blue-wing Teal. Between feeding bouts, they would stop and bob their heads in unison, facing each other.
