Turning the eggs

Kayaked out to Moss Bluff, to see what action was happening in the rookery.  Great egrets, snowies, anhingas, blue herons, osprey, and vultures, nesting and mating.  This great egret is turning eggs.  They build very flat nests not too far up in the trees.  The herons are at the very top.
