Blue and yellow

A small gesture in support of the courageous people of Ukraine. Thanks to Miranda for suggesting the theme.

I had started to sort out some items to donate to the local appeal for Ukraine, then read an article somewhere or other on the internet by someone who used to work for one of the big charities and was putting the case for making a monetary gift rather than donating 'supplies'. The charities can obtain exactly what's required when it's needed, and avoid transport costs/delay. It made sense, so a donation to the Red Cross it was, and also to the Kyiv International to try and help keep Ukraine's media going. The Guardian recently published an article on ways to help the people of Ukraine.

A normal Thursday here - Jacqui came for coffee this morning, yoga this evening, and some housework in between. Found it difficult to settle to doing anything...
