Shop
We have a busy weekend ahead; a wedding on Friday and B's birthday Saturday.
So I steeled myself and braved that famous West London shopping centre (not my favourite pastime) to return a faulty suit jacket and buy some gifts.
It's a strange experience - there is a fair amount of 'hanging out' (teenagers) and a significant smattering of 'posing' (people who should know better) and not a great deal of shopping. It feels very, what I imagine to be American, though there have been shopping centres in the UK for decades this is a new brand of place where folk come to socialise rather than consume - weird.
Anyway, it was successful and I beat a hasty retreat mostly intact.
