Perfect Twig

I was filling the bird feeders this morning when I heard a hawk, high up in a pine tree. Naturally, I dropped everything and ran in to get my camera. I call shots like these 'grab shots'. No time to make any setting adjustments, just aim and shoot! She flew from the pine tree to the top of a very tall American Holly tree, having spotted the 'Perfect' twig to use in her nest building project. 

'You have a lot more respect for a bird after you try making a nest.'
