On the beach
We were up early this morning and had left home by 7am to drive to Norfolk. It was an easy drive up and after stopping to feed Xena and getting a coffee we still got here in good time for Gavin's 10.30am zoom meeting.
While Gavin was on his call I was unpacking and sorting things, as we had a delivery of armchairs this week. Then we all went to Brancaster beach for a walk, but by now it had started raining, softly but steadily. It was very mild and not unpleasant, just wet! We walked up the beach to see the seals, as when Gavin was here two weeks ago he saw eight seal pups. This year at Blakeney they have had a record number of grey seal pups being born, close to 4000.
The beach was misty with a few other walkers - I liked this minimalist view of Xena on the beach.
Gavin had more meetings this afternoon but now is pottering about, hanging a curtain and then he is putting up a mantelpiece over the fireplace. He loves doing DIY!
It's the perfect night for Netflix with the fire on...
