Birthday Week Commences

Kicking off birthday week with my birthday and a trip up Bennachie - the only time i can get D up a hill - and the weather was amazing, as was the 75 year old walking up it using sticks to raise money for Cancer support.  Then off to Inverurie Garden centre for a suprise meet up with Jo and Akira for D's birthday week.  Akira had made him a very special helmut hat, fit for a Birthday King. Home for visits from family.  Pretty cool birthday all in i'd say, you can't beat sitting on top of Bennachie soaking up the views from that old pictish fort.
