Half century in the bag

50 years on planet earth and celebrating on Shetland. Started with a wee walk around Lerwick to the infamous DI Perez house and Police Station like a total series fangirl before spying a tweed cape jacket to think about for later. Hoswick Visitor Centre for Lunch where Dave went full viking and then onto Sandsyer pier wishing the Mousa ferry was up and running (Bird flu!). Then on to beautiful Levenwick beach and the atmospheric Netheron graveyard which looks like it was built on a longboat. We saw seals and then an otter at Levenwick - what a birthday treat, followed by a sip of bubbles. Lerwick for a cheeky wee birthday dinner - but nae vegetarian option available at the booked restaurant - bit of a damp squib after a great day.
