Italian Food Treats
The weather today is cloudy and the occasional spots of rain hit the windscreen.
We are in St Andrews pursuing business activities. Finding a parking space is fairly easy and tickets are purchased via an App.
The minimum period is one hour and we spend our time walking. Looking in shop windows is inevitable. We could not resist the lure of Italian Food Treats; the subjects of today’s entry.
In honour of Montalbano, the fictional Sicilian Police Inspector our treats include Cannoli. Very tasty.
We are passed by a well dressed man eating Fish and Chips from a box. He is unable to wait till he returned to his his office.
Pat is hooked and suggests we extend the period of parking if there is a table available in the Tailend Restaurant, and of course there is.
The restaurant is well ventilated and everyone is wearing masks.
We enjoy our food and chat quite happily to each other. At the nearest table a couple and a mother/mother-in-law are sitting. Apart from ordering they say nothing to each other throughout the meal.
The weather outlook is one of an improving outlook with dry sunny days and rising tempartures.
