Practical magic?

It's St David's Day, Shrove Tuesday (i.e. Pancake Day) and the start of Meteorological Spring (yay!) but my blip has absolutely nothing to do with any of that!

Year 8 have started a Physics unit ('Heating & Cooling') so it was all Bunsen burners and boiling water today as they did their first practical investigation.

I'm very pleased to say that the only person who got burnt was me.  :-)
