Needlefelt Casper

Today's gloom and misty drizzle didn't encourage me outside, so the needlefelted model of our tailless cat Casper which M made with J is finally having his day in the limelight. J's role in this is largely limited to giving directions, though she did enjoy helping to pull out the wool with her fingers and felting the body and leg pieces hand over hand. The fine detail is M's work - she is very talented and enjoys it. We are so fortunate to have two lovely and talented art therapists working with J. The jungle effect is simply J's scarf draped over the bed head and pillow.
