Early spring in the garden
I had a wander round the garden today, taking photos for my monthly collage of plants and views, and was surprised to find the first flowers already opening on the flowering currant. The first dandelion is out too, the cherry plum blossom is beautiful, delicate and perfect, and there are daffodils, snowdrops and hellebores. It's been a chilly day, but reasonably bright after yesterday's damp gloom. The collage will follow, perhaps tomorrow - it's too late now, and I still need to put on laundry and the dishwasher as well as getting J to bed.
It's been a busy day, finishing and filming J's responses to a set of interview questions about her animations. The preparation and filming have both taken a very long time over the past ten days, so I hope a reasonable amount of the material is used. We still need to download, trim and name all the files and sort out accompanying photos before we send it all off tomorrow.
