Down and down again…

How proud we are of son #2!

Today we visited and had a tour of the loft extension he’s building with the help of his business partner.

This week the staircase to the loft went in. Next week the ground floor staircase is removed and a newer, less steep one will take its place. It’s all very open plan there at the moment and the family have moved in with Andréa’s parents.

And our granddaughters are so delightful. Théa is one big smile and Esmée full of creativity and great fun to play with. Today, I was asked to take my sewing machine and repaired her Tangled dress, sadly torn as she danced last week.

They left for Mormor’s with toy reinforcements and on our drive home we gave thanks for the freedom they have and remembered those dear children in Ukraine.
