Turned upside down…

On my run this morning on the gates of a building site but which turned my thoughts again to Ukraine. The words seemed very much to say what is happening there.

This afternoon we visited an elderly friend whose husband died while she was at the retirement lunch last Sunday. She was sure he knew he’d come to the end of his waiting to go and said his final goodbye in his insistence that she went to the service. He’d be fine. He died holding their son’s hand.

This evening we joined other local churches to pray for Ukraine.
