Degrees Of Freedom

I actually shot this in horizontal orientation, although had I been brave enough to walk on the ice, I could have taken it as shown. In any case it's an abstracted detail, with only a nod to reality, so I feel able to alter it further than I might otherwise.

The lines are formed by frozen reeds under the ice that also provide the warm tones in the image which I think works nicely with the frosted white. I like that one of the reeds is bent.
