Deal or no deal

Good news: the insurance company made an offer for my bike.
Bad news: they were way below what I was expecting.
Good news: after a lecture they have seen the error of their ways and have now agreed a more reasonable settlement.

To be honest I was already on high alert when I was told I could only submit my claim by downloading a claim form and posting it along with 5 other documents. Ironic for a company that calls itself "***ONLINE"!

But the new bike is ordered and a mixture of insurance and Cycle to Work Scheme is paying for it.

While I waited at traffic lights I say this man putting up a new advertising poster. I was fascinated by the technique. It is made up of narrow strips that were stuck on at the bottom. Then what can only be described as a thing of purpose was used to push the strips up to the top.

He made it look much easier than I'm sure it is.
