Nesting swans

Today was one of those days where I went looking for something to blip.

There were no preconceived ideas, just a case of whatever caught my eye.

A few things were of interest and may become subjects later.

But today is of this nesting swan.
The pair must be very secure in their surroundings because the nest is at the side of a boating lake with a footpath right beside it.

The mate is across the other side of the lake.

I'll have to keep visiting to check on progress.
