Wire/raspberry frame

Over the autumn/winter, I moved all my soft fruit trees to the back of the plot and made a raspberry frame out of bits of timber that were already on my plot. 

As I noticed this week that the loganberry was showing signs of new growth, I checked the raspberry canes, which are also waking up (exciting!). 

I thought it might be a good idea to join up the posts with wire as they've now had a bit of time to settle into the soil. 

It's the first growing season I have a proper frame (as opposed to makeshift stakes and string), not only does it look the part, but I imagine it'll make a difference when the 12 canes really get going!
