Sunday Cat

Chaiyya wanted something this morning, and started to meow and chirrup at just before 7 A.M..

I don’t usually get up early on Sundays, but after 45 minutes of relentless meowing, I gave up and fed the cats - hoping to get another hour of sleep later. But it wasn’t food Chaiyya had wanted, and she continued to keep me awake with meeping noises. Playing with her didn’t help for long, nor did opening the door into the garden, or giving her some extra food. 

I still don’t know what was wrong with her, but around noon she finally joined me on the sofa and calmed down.
