Catkins

Another beautiful day but still with a chill in the air.
The service this morning had a focus on prayer and we again spent time praying for the situation in Ukraine.
In the afternoon I did some cross-stitch I'd found half finished, appropriately a sunflower, Ukraine's national flower.
I then went for a run and was going to settle for a blip of pylons against a blue sky but then I found these catkins. It took several attempts to persuade the wee camera to focus on the right place, this was my final attempt.
I just answered the door to a man who was trying to deliver me a meal - but it was for a house with the same number round the corner. That's a few times we could have had a meal!
