Highly Unsprung

Uprighting a sheep, heritage, food, gifts...

To Haddo for a search for a 50th birthday gift for Sharon, bookended by a walk around the gardens (the devastation of this winter's storm in the surrounding landscape is  heartbreaking) and a cheeky veggie sausage sarnie and fruit scone at Mrs Smiths.  Picked up some Wellingtonia cones fallen from the tree Queen Victoria planted way back in 1867.   Will try to get some seeds to germinate. Back home - on route Dave had to upright a poor sheep that was in dire straights stuck on its back and dangerously bloated, i'm hoping the farmer we alerted made sure it was okay - to host Mum and Dad for a cuppa, a wee bit of Gardening tackling the 25ft tall ivy and old sunflower stalks - spring IS in the air - then a wee run around to drop Ross and Tess for a walk at the Don. Oh and then of course it was the Pottery Throwdown final - well done AJ (so chuffed to find out they are an Access RGU alumni, long after my time as Access lead, loved building Access RGU alongside some of the best colleagues i've had the pleasure to work with).
