Yes or No? Did He Down It?

Three fishermen were fishing on the dock, but I could only see one. I hadn't seen him catch anything, but as he went down the dock to talk to one of his buddies...I saw him look back and scream..."You @#$%^& bird! Give me back my fish!"

Heinrich the heron had swiped the fish, but couldn't he have landed in the sunlight instead of the shadows? I saw the size of the fish, and if I would have had a vote... I would have voted no. A resounding no.

But, I would have been wrong. It took him several minutes, and some bending of his birdie body, but he did it. 

Just watching the ordeal made me a wreck,
but the fish slid down his long birdie neck.
