Saturday: Chi Chi Rones

Today has been an excellent day.  We went for a good 2 hour walk this morning, all around the cobbled backstreets.  There were lots of photo opportunities (see extras - including some lovely murals). It was a real visual feast.

This afternoon we read on the beach, helped  by the fact that we are both enjoying excellent books.  The waves were very high so we were pretty hypnotized by those.

Tonight we had a few drinks and dinner before going on to one of our favourite Puerto Vallarta events, the ‘Duelling Drag Divas’, in which two drag queens battle against each other for best performance of the night.   This was the third time K and I saw them.  I’m sure that had nothing to do with the fact that, tonight, we were asked to be the judges!  Fame, at last! 

K tells me that my sharing of the result of the result was much enhanced by my British accent - a bit of a rarity in Puerto Vallarta.  Here is Chi Chi Rones whom we declared the winner.
