Monday: Our Lady of Guadelupe

First thing this morning we had to negotiate antigen tests to enable us to travel. The tests were relatively straightforward- it was just the admin that was incredibly painful.  Anyway, I’m pleased to report that we are both negative and safe to be let loose on the airlines.

This morning we walked around the area of the church, ‘Our Lady of Guadelupe’ and beyond.  The church was made particularly famous by Richard Burton lolling outside it in the opening scene of ‘Night Of The Iguana’.

This evening we had an excellent meal on the beach, complete with fabulous sunset.  The only downside to a meal on the beach is that your chair keeps sinking so that by the end you are sitting there with your nose resting on the edge of the table………
