Flooding reaches Burradoo

There is an easement that runs behind our back hedge. It's about 9 metres from our house. I went out a little while ago armed with a huge umbrella, crocs and my iphone. I was a tad surprised.

Thankfully, though, the easement is doing its job and the massive amounts of rain that have fallen today are moving down through the system. Our local town, Bowral, is cut off in three of four directions. However, this is a 'drop in the ocean', so to speak, compared to what people further up the coast in NSW are experiencing. They are having a hideous time.

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting another 150mm for our area tomorrow!
