the first one of 2022 has appeared in the garden! Seems very early compared to the others so I don't know why this one was so eager to bloom!

A sunshiney day in Essex but flipping freezing! After a spot of food shopping we went for a wander round the nature reserve on Canvey but there was no bird life around anywhere! Obviously too cold for them as well so we didn't stay too long - our faces were frozen too in the strong winds! Who needs botox LOL!

Got the little solar pond pump working today in the wildlife pond so we'll see how long that lasts as it has a tendency to topple over!   and now having a catch up with some mail - can't believe the royal mail are putting stamp prices up yet again.  How to make less people send mail in one fail swoop! madness
