Crocuses

This is a small bowl of crocuses in my garden …annoying that there are yellow ones, I’m sure they were meant to be purple or white as on the packet! 

But the extras show some of the crocuses that are now in full bloom at Wisley where I went this morning. We got there a bit later than planned, 10.20, and it was already very busy so difficult to take photos of the large crocus areas without lots of people in the photos!

So nice to have sun and it was warm enough to have a coffee sitting outside of the Hilltop cafe. However unfortunately every time I have been to that cafe the service is so so slow it means long queues. I really think they could train the staff to be more efficient, disappointing.

The large glasshouse was immaculate inside as always and not many people in it. We observed that we think it is even better,as tainted than Kew, but it is considerably smaller than all the greenhouses at Kew. The alpine house also had some lovely flowering bulbs some very small scilla and some miniature fritillaries.
