International Women’s Day

Purple Green and White are the theme colours of IWD. These flowers reflect that effectively.

I believe there is only one contemporary statue of a woman in Cheltenham. It’s of a female jockey and is at the Racecourse.

When we worked in Poland today was a national celebration of women. Every female employee was given flowers.

Today we took the plunge and bought a battery powered lawnmower. Thank you for your recommendations. Both batteries charged fully in the time it took me to assemble the mower.

I was pleased with the first outing. I set the cut very high to encourage strong growth throughout the season.
