You called?

Thanks for all the lovely messages yesterday. 100% fluids today has been a challenge, especially because I spent part of the morning making a veggie flan ready for tomorrow’s lunch, post procedure! It was so tempting, but I didn’t taste it.

We had an early walk (because the afternoon has been in and out of the bathroom) before the sun reappeared from the clouds. Bean didn’t mind.

A friend who has been stuck in Australia for the last 7 months dropped in briefly, and we will catch up more thoroughly after tomorrow. It was wonderful to see her.

Now that Kiwis can come home from Aussie without any isolation period there will be a whole lot of reunions across the country. It’s a joyous thing.
