Oskar turns 17!

Oskar went to see the new Batman movie with his Mom and Dad and we went over to their house to rescue Bean from her cage and play a little before they got home for cake to celebrate 17 years.  This is a very creative and fun young man.,( with a very loving and wiggly dog)  .we’re so glad he’s in our lives.

Another big event of the day was a lunch OUT with good friend R (a first for me!). we just assumed we could go to our favorite neighborhood restaurant not realizing they are no longer open for lunch since the pandemic.  We did find another to discuss all the depressing ills of the world— always a few comforting laughs too.  (in my other journal) 

Now it’s time to get under the covers….
