Tuesday: PV Farewell

We had a good last morning in Puerto Vallarta, with breakfast out and a few hours on the beach.  It was pretty overcast today and the waves were too high for swimming.

We headed to the airport for our afternoon flight.  Everything went very smoothly and we didn’t even have to show any test results.

So, I appreciate that there will be some eye-rolling and tutting as you were expecting me to reveal our next destination.  Not yet……..we are back in Vancouver but only for a very short period, mainly to pick up Barney and a suitcase.

It does all feel a little odd - we’re in an Airbnb in Gastown and have a hire car.  We managed to park the feelings while we were on holiday but we’re not quite sure where we belong at the moment.

Our flight was pretty delayed so by the time we got to our accommodation the only food option was McDonald’s, courtesy of Ubereats.  If McD’s hadn’t suspended their operations in Russia we wouldn’t have even considered them as an option and would have preferred to go hungry.
