View from the top

More batch soup-making this morning, leek and potato this time.

Emptied the tall cupboard in the spare bedroom, and cleared a space for it at the other end of the room ready to move it tomorrow. Just need to decide which of the contents to keep.

Late afternoon a walk with MrM to the top of Humbleton Hill, up the easy way round the side of the hill. My uphill speed is set to 'slow' the days, and the light was fading fast by the time we reached the top. Good views of the hills from there - towards the right of the Blip are the twin summits of Yeavering Bell. Didn't take long to get down the steep track to the path down through High Humbleton village!
