A view from Jeanneb

Solitary

A pleasant morning, not as much sun as yesterday but not as cold either so I walked to the next village for my dental appointment at 11.00 am. I was a bit early but it was nice enough to sit on the bench for a while at the entrance to Wilsden Park.

Very quick in and out of the dentist. No need to go again for 12 months pending the results of two X rays.

Walking back down I took these shots looking towards our village. The row of cottages is Cherry Tree Row, technically in Wilsden but beyond you can see the village of Harden.
The houses at the top are Moor Edge and above them are the trees of Badger Woods, Deepcliff through which there is access to Harden Moor. To the right are the trees of the St Ives Estate. Both are areas where we often walk.

Just below the St Ives woods are the new houses in the village centre and below them just over the roof tops in the top shot you can see the white walls of some of the houses of the estate where I live.

The bottom shot is a close up taken a little further down my walk so those houses disappear into the dip formed by Harden Beck.

Have you noticed anything solitary?

There is a solitary man stood on the roof of the end house of Cherry Tree Row! He is clearer on the close up but if you look carefully you will spot him on the wider photo above too!

An added bonus to this lovely view.
