Water under the bridge

The local organiser of Scotland’s Open Gardens called this afternoon and I informed him of my decision to resign from the committee in order to make room for someone else with fresh ideas. ( We will of course still open our garden at the end of May)
 
But it got me thinking about the first year we took part which coincided with the 70th anniversary of Scotland’s Gardens.  
 
And BBC Beechgrove Gardens featured Bridge of Allan Gardens as part of their programme to celebrate the occasion. Well, we have a small part in it . This all happened  in 2006.
 
A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.
