They have opened!!  Absolutely thrilled to see these pop open today.  

A happy morning meeting up with my plein air friends.. we had so much to talk about our three our parking ticket was over before we could do any art!!  We have another session next week.. no chat.. just art!!
Book club tonight.. we were tasked to read Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck which is being removed from the curriculum and replaced with  another book... The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison .. so two to read and compare. Has anyone read either of these?  Personally we didn't think the Bluest Eye was suitable for GCSE but would be interested to hear if you have an opinion.  
The Red Notebook is our next read.. looks a little lighter and more joyful so I am looking forward to getting on to that.

8 years... failed to realise it was today.. oops.. 
I have a few gaps but still enjoy the challenge of posting here.  Looking back through the journal periodically has been a joy over the years.  Thank you everyone who pops in, for the interaction and support and for all your journals ... I enjoy posting here and like everyone appreciate the work put in by The Team in keeping the site rolling smoothly.
