Runners

This is an early morning photo taken in the Entoto Hills. I went on a run with a couple of other Canadian friends, docs from the TAAAC (Toronto Addis Ababa Academic Collaboration) program. Maddeningly, I couldn't keep up with them, and they are new to the 3000 m elevation. Oh well, I didn't think I was making the next Olympics... And a local had no trouble keeping up despite carrying a water can. At least it was empty.

We did see lots of Ethiopian runners up there training. Fast... But that deserves a whole other blip
