Carpathian Mountains

We drove over the eastern Carpathian Mountains from Suceava for almost 7 hours to get over to the Sighetu crossing point by dusk. It’s a tiny crossing where people arrive from Ukraine by train. It was good to see it at night. Later we headed off to Baja Mare to stay the night.

It was a stunning drive, I only wish the circumstances of my visit were different.
