Pollination
Another sunny spring day with a chilly wind, reminding us that we've only just left winter behind. I'd thought I was spending the afternoon in a meeting, but it turned out that I'd put the wrong time in my diary, and should have been there at 9.30 a.m.!
As it was such a lovely day, I spent most my unexpected free afternoon in the garden, planting some of our recent purchases. This queen Buff-tailed Bumblebee was also making good use of the fine weather to stock up on nectar from the Hellebores - gathering a fair amount of pollen in the process!
