Honfleur

A pretty town geared up for tourists. There are quaint narrow streets with artist workshops, many eating places and of shops selling cider. It has a marina and a number of boats to take tourist along the Seine. Earlier we crossed the Seine on a ferry, and a few minutes later, due to lack of concentration, crossed the river again over Pont Tancarville. And back again to try and find the road we set off on. Behind us is a splendid looking bridge called Pont Normandy, perhaps we can try it later?

We are parked on the edge of the town in an Aire - an area for motorhomes to top up with water, electricity and dump all unmentionables. For 10 euros we can stay here and tend to all the above and stay for 24 hours - we think. It's pleasant and as well as a swan and a pair of coots we watched Kevin the coypu for 10 minutes or so. A big beast. Today is the first day we have topped up the electricity and now the iPad is at 100%. Yesterday it was very low and along with the intermittent wifi my sending the blip became a struggle. Today I have discovered I can prepare it all without wifi and am doing so before we head for the tourist office where we should have access to the Internet.
