The King was asking his mum about pedals prior to coming for lunch today; pedals with a piano attached it transpired.

I was very impressed he'd remembered, to press rather than bash the piano keys (in the main). Similarly that he also picked out the metronome and and was much better at pressing the keys, in time with the clicks. 

Having enquired about the music stand, he then managed to raise and lower it, without it crashing down. Having enquired about the sheet music he than spent much time moving it from the piano to the stand and back again a number of times (with assistance).
