Periwinkle Blue - Not!!

I think these little blue flowers that have just appeared in our borders are periwinkles (unless you know otherwise?)

Have just discovered these are NOT periwinkles at all, but Aubretia! Sorry about the error and thanks to "sunflower" and "Croftcrafts" for making me look more closely at my plant encyclopedia!!

So nice to see a little bit of colour at last and when I looked closely, there were some primula denticulata just coming into flower along with some pretty pink flowers that I have yet to identify! A few very mini daffs, some tiny iris and delayed snowdrops and that's about it for now. All very welcome, nevertheless!

We're off to a music concert at a local church this evening, so hope my husband gets home from his fishing trip very soon or he won't be getting any tea!!
