We all need some sunshine

After last night’s rain (slept through), very pleasant to wake up to the sun. Walked to West Cliff and then a bus to Westbourne. The lovely greengrocer got radicchio in for us. And also bought 2 plump aubergines for tomorrow evening (at ‘E’, I always take my own vegan dish up, probably making melanzane alla parmigiana - veganised).

Walked round Westbourne, then waited for an an empty’ish bus back (seems Covid’s rising in the over 50’s).

Difficult to imagine the horrors in Ukraine, seeing people enjoying themselves around town here.

(NB re slogan on bus - Piers Morgan is an outspoken journalist, loved by many, who was fired from his prime TV Morning show after saying he didn’t believe a word the Duchess of Sussex said. He’s fabulously wealthy so wouldn't give a toss).
