Saturday's blip, backblipped on Sunday

B & D gave his brother, Ryan (left), a patio heater for his birthday.  We were all there to celebrate his 50th.  When he opened the box and all the guys looked at the parts, they decided it was too complicated to put together.  Becky and I volunteered, and they all laughed.  They said, "Good luck!"  Of course, we didn't need luck.  All we had to do was follow the directions, something they all have trouble doing.  Once it was together, all they had to do was put in the propane tank and light it.  It only took three guys and 20 minutes to get it lit.  Silly men!!  Remembering Admirer today on Silly Saturday. x

My extra is of Darrin doing something very silly, especially after several beers (not me, him!).  He forgets that he's not a kid anymore and wants to try out their toys.  We all thought the pogo stick was ill advised, especially so close to the fire pit, but he managed to stay upright.

Once the patio heater was fired up and there was a fire burning in the pit, we spent a cozy afternoon/evening outside.  There was lots of great food and the adult beverages were flowing.  Kids and dogs were running wild while the rest of us laughed and talked.  I am always grateful for time spent with family! :-))
